Solomon Candlesticks

Sorry, not in stock

  • Manufacturer:Laura Cowan
  • Product Code:CS02337
  • Dimensions:11.5" x 4" x 2"

These tall candlesticks are Laura’s interpretation of the columns of first Temple. No one knows exactly how the original columns looked because no conclusive archeological evidence has been discovered.
King Solomon's Temple had two pillars at the Porch. The right pillar was named Jachin, which means "to establish" and the left one was named Boaz which means "in strength". Different commentaries give different details, but they are thought to have been cast in solid bronze and measured 6 feet and diameter and 27 feet high.
Laura has created her own interpretation using her signature elements of elongated cones. Each piece is expertly turned on a lathe from the highest aircraft quality aluminum and then highly polished to a mirror shine. Laura signs each one.
